Jason Kingston, CPA, CGA, TEP, CEPA, FEA, EA (US)
Jason Kingston is an experienced CPA and business advisor with over 25 years of experience. A proud graduate of Conestoga College, Jason has lived and practiced in Waterloo Region for the entirety of his career, working with family-owned businesses and individuals to provide a variety of services including tax planning and advice, US cross border tax, estate planning, business exit planning and generational transitions of businesses. He is passionate about providing solutions for clients to ensure growth and tax efficiency to meet their future goals.
Jason has earned a CPA (Chartered Professional Accountant) designation, completed the CPA Canada (then CICA) In-Depth Tax program, and earned the TEP (Trust and Estate Planner), CEPA (Certified Exit Planning Advisor) and FEA (Family Enterprise Advisor) designations.
Jason was formerly a partner and business advisor with Grant Thornton LLP, and was previously a tax partner for Drouillard Sambrook Kingston LLP and co-founder and CEO of Kingston Data & Credit Inc.
Nouman Ahmad, CPA, CA, CFA
Nouman is a seasoned M&A transaction and business valuation expert with over 15 years of experience.
A graduate of the University of Waterloo, Nouman has built his career in the Waterloo Region, providing private companies with comprehensive transaction and valuation services. His expertise spans M&A transactions, restructuring, financial reporting, tax planning, and litigation support.
Nouman’s career includes over 10 years at KPMG, where he served as Vice President in the Deal Advisory group, guiding private company clients through complex transactions and valuations. He also gained FP&A experience at a TSX-listed retirement home operator, where he developed financial models that shaped corporate strategy.
Nouman holds the CPA, CA, CBV (Chartered Business Valuator), and CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) designations, reflecting his strong foundation in accounting, valuation, and financial analysis.
